Lumion supports three kind of reflections. Lumion you will find, if you look, which kind of reflection are available. RLGL December 25,am Is this workflow a bust for Enscape? If we were to try Enscape, would all planting need to be done in sketchup. It will be interesting to see what the real price for TM will be. I know it is spendy but at this point in the TM development…for free. From November onwards, new releases of Twinmotion will be available as a paid-for product. Yes as whiterabbitdesigncompany said, modifications back and forth between SketchUp and Twinmotion is easy. Enscape can be used on a monthly subscription basis, so without spending a lot, you could use on an as needed basis, by just subscribing and cancelling for 30 days of use. As Eric says, the big difference between the 2 is the ability to animate objects - people, cars etc. There is a setting on startup that allows you to change the navigation methods with a regular mouse in Twinmotion. I am trying Enscape now and it seems very intuitive and my space navigator works just fine with it.įrom the quick look I had it seems that Twinmotion had a lot more items and categories. So with all this, and cost and mouse navigation in mind, you should be able to make a more informed decision.

One more thing is that Enscape is a SketchUp plugin which means you can continue to make changes in SketchUp and see the results while Twinmotion is a standalone app requiring a SU export and then import. The other big difference is environment settings. Any thoughts on this? I can say from using both that the quality of the render is the same or better even with Enscape. To the enscape team, create a way to bring decent content into revit like a proxies system or something along those lines so we can have vegetation and decent furniture etcI got used with this mouse in Sketchup and Blender and it is a pain for me to move in 3D space without it. Twinmotion is going to be great, and im sure we will use it to create great images, but dont get too excited, it will be a very long time before twinmotion catches the ease and quality of enscape.

I get all of that with enscape, i can even add lights while enscape is open to areas of my model that are dark, i cant do this with other software applications. As an architect im using this tool to SEE the space, i want to see the actual finishes, see the correct lighting etc. Whether i sync or export my file i still have to go in setup the lighting, setup the materials, tweak a ton of settings to get a decent image.Īnd moving around in the scene is not photorealistic. Here is the issue with software like twinmotion, lumion etc. Enscape is the easiest to learn, easy to produce, and time saving option out there, and the results if you have your workflow setup are actually the best excluding thea and corona. Where im going with this is we work in a Revit environment sometimes sketchup. I personally have Thea and corona for my personal projects. We also have Lumion, artlantis and LumenRT. So ill be getting the new version as well. I think Enscape has its own place and its a secure one at least in our firm.

Gavin Pendergrast Thank you for your feedback! We will keep focusing on our strenghts: ease of use, fast rendering and high quality output! I will be getting my hands on the Twinmotion system as soon as I can but if they price it to suit the commercial market it will be an easy decision to stay with Enscape. Don't overdo the options just do what you do and do it well at a sharp price. What you are offering with Enscape is simplicity. This will be a big aspect in any decision between the two options. As an Archicad user I currently output through sketchup to Enscape which looks fine but when meeting with clients it makes 'changes on the go' not possible. Twinmotion is being released with the 1 click syncro add-on built into Archicad.
